How it works

We start by looking up the average risk at your current age for the most common causes of death (e.g. heart disease, cancer, diabetes, stroke, etc.). Then based on the findings of peer-reviewed scientific studies, we calculate how much your lifestyle choices increase or decrease your risk for each disease.

Finally, the age associated with your calculated risk for each disease is determined. The mean of these ages is your final LifestyleAge. Put simply, your LifestyleAge is the average age of someone with the same risks as you for common causes of death.
